Dr. Kelsey O’Brien
Dr. Kelsey O’Brien grew up in Pensacola, Florida. She double-majored in zoology and nutritional sciences and earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida. She also obtained her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine before moving to Nashville to complete her pediatric residency training at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. After having the opportunity to practice pediatrics in several states due to her husband’s position as a U.S. Air Force pilot, she is thrilled that his retirement has led them to settle in Dallas!
Dr. O’Brien enjoys working with and caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. She strives to practice evidence-based medicine while focusing on preventative care, and has specific interests in sleep, nutrition, dermatology and allergy/asthma. She is excited to join Pecan Tree Pediatrics and looks forward to the opportunity to care for your children.
Dr. O’Brien lives in Dallas with her husband and two teenage sons, their mini goldendoodle Ginger and guinea pig Peanut. She is involved in her church and enjoys exercising, attending her boys’ sporting events, water sports, and essentially anything outdoors.
Dr. O’Brien works in the Dallas office and is accepting new patients.
