Dr. Virenda Wood
Dr. Virenda Wood completed her undergraduate studies at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology. She then received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
After completion of her residency, Dr. Wood remained in the Dallas area as a community pediatrician serving the needs of our pediatric population in both clinic and hospital settings. We are excited to have her joining us at Pecan Tree Pediatrics!
Dr. Wood resides in Rowlett with her growing family and enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
