Dr. Nadine Wakim

Dr. Nadine Wakim is originally from Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University with highest distinction with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then earned her Medical Degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. After completing medical school, she pursued pediatrics in Dallas and completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern and Children’s Medical Center. Following her residency training in pediatrics, she traveled to South Africa for an international health fellowship and spent 6 months working at an HIV clinic.

Since returning to Dallas, Dr. Wakim has been working in an urban community clinic providing care to pediatric patients. She is excited to be a part of Pecan Tree Pediatrics and is looking forward to providing care for children in the Wylie and Rockwall areas, forming lasting relationships with their families, and having the privilege of watching them grow and flourish.

Dr. Wakim lives in Farmer’s Branch and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, traveling and learning about new cultures and places, cooking, running with her dog, and being outdoors.
