Dr. Casey Drake
Dr. Casey Drake is a proud native of Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in. Dr. Drake then moved to Dallas, Texas, where she completed her training in Pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center-UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Initially, Dr. Drake practiced as a general pediatrician at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha Nebraska. Her career focus shifted to Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine, when she started the first Pediatric Hospitalist Program in Nebraska at Children’s Hospital Omaha in cooperation with Creighton Medical Center. UT Southwestern Medical Center then recruited Dr. Drake back to Dallas to start the first Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Children’s Medical Center.
After realizing a growing need for Pediatricians in Rockwall County, she and Dr. Pecson decided to open a Pediatric clinic in Rockwall county. The personal and professional satisfactions gained from their first clinic motivated them to also open a clinic in Wylie. Dr. Drake is enjoying providing continuity of care to her patients in both Wylie and Rockwall.
Dr. Drake resides in Dallas with her husband and daughter with whom she enjoys spending her time. As you may note from the clinic’s interior design, she is very talented and delights in undertakings of decor and design.
